FLORIDA NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY.NET
I was born and raised in Broward County Florida, a great location for
viewing birds and "snow birds" of all kinds.
My journey into bird photography started in 1998
after buying Arthur Morris' excellent book "The art of bird photography".
In February 2003, after five years working with film, using the Canon A2 & 400 5.6, I
made the switch from film to digital with a Canon 1D and have since bought some Wide Angle Lenses as well as some bigger Telephoto Lenses which are all Canon brand.
My discovery of a website in August 2003 - NatureScapes.Net proved to be a huge benefit as it is where I was able to learn from other photographers. I learned from honest critiques of my images and the invalueable pointers in Photoshop from the late Mr. Sandy Mossberg.
NatureScapes.Net has also afforded me the opportunity to meet other photographers
from around the world and foster new friendships along my photography sojourn.
My images have been published by these fine magazines.
Wildbird, Birder's World, Montana Outdoors and The Nature Conservancy.
They have also been used by US Fish & Wildlife for National Park Brochures.
I have also placed in State and National Photo Contest with
Best in Show, First Plce, Second Place & Honorable Mentions!
